Win Head to Toe Women's Expo Tickets

Full Disclosure – Joe and I do work for the H2T company.

Have you been to the Head to Toe Women’s Expo before? It’s a weekend filled with everything a girl/woman could want – shopping, chef demos, massages, a fashion show, famous people and quality time with your best friends or mothers, sisters and daughters. From their website – “With an emphasis on health, happiness, and style, Head to Toe offers something for every woman.”

I’ve got 2 sets of 3 VIP passes to give away, so if you win, you can take a couple of friends or family members with you. There are two upcoming weekends, one at the Pasadena Convention Center, October 9, 10 & 11 and the other at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, December 4, 5 & 6. These VIP tickets are good for one day at either location.

To win one set of three passes, tell me in the comments one of your favorite things about being a woman and which location you live near. If you don’t live near one of these locations and couldn’t go, tell me your favorite thing anyway. I like to hear from everybody. Ok? Go!

  1. My favorite thing about being a woman is that I can grow long, flowing locks without being called a damn hippie. (I live closest to the Pasadena one, I guess, since I don’t even know where Del Mar is.)

  2. My favorite thing about being a woman is … having to do with not having to worry about certain things..um.. getting in the way.

I’m out of town this weekend, so I’m interested in the Del Mar one.

  3. My favorite thing about being a woman is how multitasking and multi-interested we’re able to be. I am often worn out from working, cooking , cleaning and crafting nearly every day but don’t know how to be any other way. Even when my family pitches in, I don’t take it easy; it frees me up to get to my other cleaning or to bake. As women we have freedom to be into ‘guy things’ such as home improvement with a skill saw or to crochet doilies. We can be in charge of companies or home with our children. Perhaps my favorite and least favorite thing about being a woman is how much I’m underestimated and how easy it is to wow people when they realize all women can do – and sometimes better with less whining!

San Diego all the way, baby!

  4. My favorite thing about being a woman is that we are attuned on a very deep level with nature. Our reproductive cycle is our most dramatic expression of the cycles in the bigger world. We can provide food, not unlike how the earth feeds us. I believe that through these inherent connections we are intuitively better gardeners; have a special way with food (Grandma’s pot roast, Mom’s cookies); can connect with children easier (research indicates that babies respond more readily to a woman’s higher pitched voice), appreciate more delicate, nuanced details of craft work. Women are grounded in a way that men will never be. It feels to me like men are of the air, but women are of the earth.

Leah, I don’t need the tickets, but I just wanted to tell you that. As if we were having breakfast together, or something great like that.

    Love,
    Grace

  5. According to the coin toss, Peeved Michelle and Christine are the winners. Send me your addresses and I’ll pop these in the mail!
